A Means Of Encouragement For The Seeker of Knowledge

The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

“Whoever leaves his home in search knowledge is considered striving in Allah’s cause until he returns.” (At Tirmidhi)

He صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

“Whoever threads a path seeking knowledge Allah makes His path easy to paradise.” (Muslim)

On Monday the 29th of Raabi Ath Thaani in the year 1434 hijri which coincides with March, 11th 2013 in the city of Riyaadh, KSA one of the Chinese students was seen taking notes in his native language in the class of Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan. Seeing this had an immediate effect on our hearts, so our brother Mustafa George asked him to take the two quotes as a means of reflecting and encouragement. We wanted to share this beautiful an extraordinary experience with our brothers and sisters.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

“There would never cease to be a group of people from my Ummah except that they would be manifest upon the truth”Collected by Haakim (4/449) and Abu Daawood At Tayaalisi and Ad Daarimi (2/213) and declared ‘Saheeh’ By Shaikh Albaani in ‘As Silsilah As Saheehah (1956) upon the authority of Umar and others

So for those who love seeking knowledge, and those who intend to embark upon it, let this be glad tidings that there are still brothers striving in Allah’s cause with Taalibul Ilm from every corner of the globe.
