The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم never left off these supplications in the morning and evening (amongst the many others):

“O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this life and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being with regard to my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults, keep me safe from the things which I fear. O Allah, guard me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above. I seek refuge with your Might from any unexpected harm coming from below me” Narrated by Ibn ‘Umar. Collected by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah

It has also been established in a Hadith on the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم in an unrestricted manner whereby a Muslim can supplicate at any time and opportunity:

I heard the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

“O Allah, cover my faults, keep me safe from my fears, and aid me in the repayment of my debts.”In al-M’ujam al-Kabir of at-Tabarani on the authority of Khattab رضي الله عنه
