Talking While Narrating a Hadeeth

Ma’in Ibn Essa said:

Whenever Imaam Maalik wanted to narrate a narration of the Messenger (SAW), he would take a bath, vaporize his clothing with Bakhour, and perfume himself.

If anyone raised his voice while he was narrating he would say:

“Lower your voice! For indeed Allah the Most High says:

“O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet”(Al-Hujurat 49: Verse 2)

Whoever raised his voice at the time of narrating a hadeeth of the Messenger (SAW) is as though he raised his voice over him (SAW).
