Audio: We Will Not Remain Silent Against Ahlul Bidah

Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan responds in his commentary of Imaam Al Barbahaaree’s Sharhu Sunnah concerning the speech of the people that refutations against Ahlul Bidah are means for division and separating the Muslims.

He says: Yes, it is separating the truth from falsehood, this is a correct statement. We separate the truth from falsehood and we also separate the people of truth from the people of falsehood, and we will continue to refute.

The refutations of the scholars are not meant to cause separation, but rather it is to unite the people upon the truth. The people remaining upon falsehood and false speech are means for dividing the muslims.

As for clarifying the truth to them in order to unite them upon it, then this is the call to unity and it is not a call to separation. The dawah (call) to separations is that one says: “Don’t refute the people of falsehood”, this is the call to division if it is they could only be sensible.
